Spring hedgerow Cyanotype tealight holder, Self Care, Teacher gift

Featuring Fern, Celandine, Vetch, Forget-me-nots and tiny butterflies in blue against a white background. This unique tea light holder is a celebration of the beautiful botanical designs found in our British hedgerows and woodlands. Created using the old photographic process of Cyanotype. A light sensitive solution is applied to a delicate textured paper, a large format negative laid on then exposed to sunlight, the solution is then rinsed off and the paper dried, fixing the image. To make these candle holders the paper is then applied to glass. 8cm diameter, 9cm height.
